I want to begin this blog with an honest confession; till about two days back, it had never even occurred to me that I, of all people could ever even begin writing a blog. Authors, I always believed, were a different category of people, a category I definitely did not belong to. And this was an autosuggestion which kept me miles away from the thought of even attempting it. And then one fine day, almost around midnight, a very dear friend of mine made this suggestion to me in a rather “matter of factly” manner. So simple sounding was the suggestion that, it sounded too simple to be true. I was also inclined to believe that, it was the unadulterated love my friend felt for me that made him benevolent towards me. But somewhere the statement had the innocence and simplicity that is associated with the way children talk – they just tell you what comes to their mind in the same manner that the thought would have first occurred to them – unprejudiced and devoid of any worldly logic. The thought stayed with me and I pondered on it. The next day we talked about it and here I am.

What I am going to blog about is not something that already doesn’t exist around us. It’s just that, most of us don’t even realize what already exists around us. We are all engaged in a wild goose chase with not even realizing what is the “ end in mind “ , what drives us, what should drive us, why we exist, why what is the way it is. So essentially this blog is about a journey that we all are already undertaking. It’s just that, we are so engrossed in making the journey that, we don’t care to look outside the window to see what we are missing. It’s a snapshot of all the little things that are around us which we take so much for granted that, we have become oblivious of their very existence.
